Roasted Gram Dal Laddu ( Maladdu)

​With Ganesha chathurthi coming next day, i'm guessing lot of my friends and family would be busy bringing Ganesha home, cleaning, and most importantly cooking. No festival is complete with out making some homemade sweets. On Ganesha's Birthday making his favorite Laddu is a Must. Laddu is of different varieties Besan ki Laddu, Moti Choor Laddu, Boondi Laddu, Rawa Laddu, Coconut Laddu , dry fruits laddu, the List is endless. What i'm going to share with you today is a simple easy to make , nutritious laddu and there is no way you can go wrong in making them. No fuss, no confusing measurements, easy recipe of making Roasted gram laddu/ Porikadalai laddu/Maladdu !!


Ingredients

1) Roasted gram Dal - 2 Cups
2) Powdered sugar - 2 Cups
3) Cardamom - 6-7 in quantity
4) Ghee - 6 tsp
5) Oil - 2tsp

Method of preparation

Cardamom is good for digestive tract and boosts immune system.


In a Mixer jar, take 2 Cups of Roasted gram Dal and grind it to fine powder.
Dry Roast the dal powder till the raw aroma goes off. This process would take 7-8 minutes in medium flame. After roasting allow it to cool.
