MASALA TEA - AN EASY RECIPE

The antimicrobial qualities of the spices come in handy during cold and flu season, or whenever we happen to be fighting off a sore throat or cough.
Cardamom is helpful to elevate the mood, beneficial to the heart, lungs and kidneys. Cinnamon helps blood circulation and Ginger helps digestion and boosts the immune system.
Pepper helps regulate metabolism.

Ingredients:​

1. Cinnamon Stick - One Qty
2. Cardamom - 4
3. Whole Black Pepper - 4
4. Dry Ginger - 1/4 Teaspoon
5. Tea Powder - 2 Teaspoons
6. Milk - 1.5 Cups
7. Water - Half a Cup
8. Sugar - Desired

Take all the Spices (Ingredients 1 to 4) in a Mortar and Pestle and coarsely grind them. 
Boil the ground spice mix in half a cup of water in a tea pan for two minutes.
Add Sugar as desired and the Tea is ready to be served.
