My Way Green Chilly Rasam

Rasam  is a soup commonly found in south Indian Kitchen , made with tamarind pulp as base. This could be eaten with rice. Rasam is my husband's daily requirement with rice, and hence we make rasam almost every day. We get a lot of recipes for rasam if we search in web, with lentils , with out ...with pepper with out ...with tomatoes..with out ...and many more. However My Rasam is completely inspired by my mom.

My mom use to take all whole spices and grind them in Ammikal and then saute them and add tamarind pulp to it. The first time i made rasam for my husband , some of the ingredients from the recipe my mom use to make  were not available with me  so i replaced with what was available  and made rasam ....and since my husband liked that rasam and insisted me to make it every time the same way , i now almost forgot how my mom use to make rasam :)
