Banana- Oats Smoothie
A smoothie is beverage made by blending in fresh fruits along with milk or yogurt. This is then flavored according to one's taste buds. Usually smoothie is thicker than a milk shake. Smoothie is very filling and gives you the extra energy that is required to keep you going well all day long. We can make lot of smoothies with whole lot of different fruits, Banana smoothie is the simplest and easiest one.

Ingredients

1) Banana - you can use any banana, since i have got baby bananas i used 3 in quantity
If its a Robusta you may use 1 to serve one.
2) Milk - 1 Cup chilled milk
3) Oats - 3 tbsp
4) Sugar - 3 tsp ( if banana is very sweet you may add less sugar )
5) Cocoa powder - 1/4 tsp
6) Ice Cubes - 6 in number
7) Chocolate - Grate white/ dark chocolate for garnishing

Banana has good amount of dietary fiber. It contains 11%potassium which helps reduce
high blood pressure and increase bone health. It Maintains good digestive track and decreases probability of getting kidney cancer.
Banana also has impressive amounts of Vitamin B6 which helps prevent inflammation.
Oats reduces Blood pressure , manages weight, helps fight bad cholesterol,Rich in dietary fiber , minerals and vitamins and easily digestible.
Milk is a good providr of calcium , phosphorus and magnesium which is helpful for bones, teeth , reduces blood pressure.

I have used Nano banana, hence i need 3 for serving one cup of smoothie. If you use Robusta or red banana one would be enough.
Cut the required quantity of banana in to small pieces and drop them in the mixer
Remove from the mixer and pour the mixture in to a serving glass. Top it up with grated chocolate and a pinch of cocoa powder ( optional). you can even crumble a cookie and top it up just before serving that gives crunchy effect while you scoop in.
